| Cry of Balintawak Monument, Balintawak, Manila. This was a familiar landmark to early FEBC missionaries motoring from downtown Manila to CRCM along the northeastern side of the city. The statue honors the cry that is said to have been uttered by Andres Bonafacio, marking the beginning of the Philippine revolution against Spain in 1896. In the 1960's the statue was moved to a location at the University of the Philippines in Quezon City. Much controversy surrounds the accuracy of depictions and facts of this event.
